Harry
Some old friends of mine just came out with Exodyssey, an amazing sci-fi art book from their studio Steambot. As a huge fan of their art I decided to do some fan art of their main character Harry.
Go buy their book at http://www.exodyssey.com/
Every artist should own this book

Dropship Doors
Orbital Relay Dish
In-Game Tree and Rocks
To get the most mileage out of the rocks I made equal amounts of interesting detail on all sides with no visible texture seems so that they could be place many times and just rotated or slightly scaled to appear as a completely new different rock. I will post a zbrush of the tree later. I just forgot to take screens of it before the weekend
LargeCrate, Gondola, and Moniters
Various Wall Supports
Here are a bunch of things I created for Section 8, an FPS game available now on Xbox360, PC, and soon to be PS3. Check it out if you haven't already. I made high poly models for all of these items some of which I show and some I do not. I didn't think it was necessary to show them all, I just wanted to show that my typical work flow is to create a highpoly model for everything and render normal and lighting info from it for use on the lowpoly. For the organic stuff like the tree and rocks I did the high poly models in Zbrush.

SuspendedColor
Well I'm really no good with color or lighting in 2d at all, but here is an attempt at coloring with the girl hanging from tenticles. It will take a while for me to finish this, but when I'm done I plan to post a little step by step of my method. By doing this, my primary hope is that someone with real skills can look at my process and give me a thorough schooling on the proper way to do it. But for now, here's a preview of where its at.

About my art blog
To be perfectly honest, my favorate form of expression is not my art...its riding my motorcycle. I'll explain this. We all have our ways of exressing ourselves, whether its art, music, dancing...it's different for everyone. But whatever it is, there is a common denominator. We love it and we're good at it. When we do it, it makes feel free, and alive, and inspired. It gives us a sense of accomplishment and acceptance when people recognize us for our expression. I get these feelings from riding. I'm sure most think its just something egomaniacs and testosterone junkies do for thrills and image and granted, the majority of the squids that ride do it for that. But I honestly feel that my most expressive and fulfulling art form comes out at WOT and 45 degrees (Most don't know what that means but any biker can tell you). However, I do love to draw and create art in 3D. I just wouldn't say I do it as a form of expression. I guess I don't really feel I'm a good enough artist to express myself effectively with it. So please don't look at anything I post here and expect to learn anything substantial about who I am. Although I will say that I do hope to further develope my art skills so that I can eventually use it for this purpose. But for now the things I post here are just creations that I either did for fun or humor or from work (I'm a videogame developer) or just because I thought something looked cool.
